Kashif, a visitor from New Zealand, had a medical incident at the Honolulu International Airport. He was taken to Straub’s emergency room where the physician advised Kashif to wait for four days before traveling again. Stranded in paradise may sound appealing to some; however, when you have business to take care of…it’s another story. As a professional squash player, his rigorous schedule required him to travel all around the world.
Enter VASH, who was more than happy to help Kashif look for lodging. In addition to searching for accommodations, VASH provided meal coupons, Hawaii memorabilia, moral support, and, of course, our Aloha spirit. After providing him with our hospitality, all Kashif could say was that he would be raving about VASH when he returned to New Zealand.
