“If ever there were people on this earth intended as an extension of God and his blessings – it is all of you. Hilkka, Lisa, and Jessica were the angelic beings we had the pleasure of knowing, but I know all of you are as much a blessing as any of them. Your kindness during my mom’s unexpected illness still brings tears to my eyes. Because of your support, love and genuine concern for all mankind we never once felt alone or scared in this foreign place you urged us to call ‘home’ (at least for a little while!). Hilkka went out of her way to come visit my mom and I bearing more gifts than anyone could imagine. I still wear the beaded necklace included in my bag of aloha love – it reminds me of the comfort your brought Mom and I last week. Lisa & Jessica took care of airfare issues without me even bringing it up & we made it home safe & sound (with recovery for Mom that would not have been as forthcoming if it wasn’t for you). I only hope to touch people’s lives the way all of you do. I am a better person for knowing you all.”
