Each month, VASH comes to the aid of visitors who are the victims of a crime, or who become ill, or pass away during their stay in Hawaii. The following are excerpts of correspondence from grateful family members and other individuals. In certain cases, the last names of the visitors have been omitted to protect their privacy.
