Would you like to share the aloha spirit with
visitors when their vacations go astray? Imagine
being away from home, in a strange place where
you know no one and your car is broken into.
All of your cash, credit cards, identification,
etc. are stolen. Who do you turn to for help?
Or a loved one falls ill and is hospitalized,
or passes away while on vacation.
VASH volunteers can help by contacting visitors
and providing the necessary assistance to handle
their crisis situation. Other VASH volunteers
assist with special events or with special projects
in our office.
|
If you have the willingness to help people,
with true kindness in your heart, VASH is for
you. Contact us now to share your aloha spirit
and become a VASH volunteer. Just download and
fill out our
Volunteer Application Form and fax or email
it to us. We'll register you for an upcoming
volunteer training session. We require all volunteers
to attend a 3-hour training session, which is
held on select Saturday mornings, as well as
a 1-hour follow-up session in our office.
Following this final session, volunteers are
presented with an official "Ambassador of Aloha"
certificate.
|
Individuals over the age of 18 are invited
to join us as a VASH Ambassador of Aloha.
